Illustration (from the Latin illustratio—to illuminate or make visible) is a visual form of communication that complements and enhances a written message. In my own career, illustration was primarily connected with advertising and graphic design, fields in which I worked for more than twenty years. During that time, I created images that helped communicate ideas, strengthen visual identity, and support the effectiveness of the message.
